I was a bit early out scouting for wildflowers this year but on my way back to the car I came across this gem.
I love spring time and I\'m a sucker for a yellow flower. The closer the better!
This flower from my Grandfather's garden holds a special place in my heart. I shot it with the help of my father while in the UK attending my Grandfather's funeral.
The sky lights up over the Wasatch Crest. The record snow pack from last season resulted is mountain sides full of healthy wildflowers.

The Allium is such a pretty flower with a stalk 18" high and a flower a bit bigger than a baseball. It offers so many oppurtunities for photographing.
Semi-lost in a Southern Utah desert, I stumbled across this flower.
A predawn springtime look east from around 10,000 in the Wasatch back country.
Although they aren't that fragrant, these are some of the most gorgeous blooms I've seen. Especially after a brief little storm burst has left them with water droplets catching the light.
Even deep in the canyon country these hearty blossoms can be found. One of my favorite flowers.
The wildflowers in the Wasatch this spring were knee to waist high. Which drew me up there at every spare moment.
